FakeLift®
The FakeLift® is a non-surgical technique, developed by Dr. Nayak for. The FakeLift® is performed by using injectable fillers to lift the cheek area and jawline and restore the youthfulness in those areas. Out of town patients are welcome to fly in for same-day consultation and treatment and can return home the same day, as the procedure only takes about 20 minutes and patients see results almost immediately. In the appropriate candidates,
this procedure generates about half of the improvement obtained through traditional lifting of the cheeks and jawline, but with almost no recovery and at only one-third of the cost.
Mild swelling following the FakeLift® is possible. This swelling usually occurs the day after treatment and lasts for 2-3 days. Significant bruising and swelling are possible but rare, especially when patients carefully avoid blood thinners such as aspirin, Motrin/ibuprofen, Aleve/Naprosyn, fish oil, vitamin E, and flaxseed oil for 2 weeks prior to treatment. To further minimize bruising, Dr. Nayak recommends avoiding exercise for 24 hours. Beyond that, there is no aftercare required.
The cost for the FakeLift® is either $4,500 to treat the mid-face or $6,500 to address the full face. This cost includes one touch-up visit a few weeks after but does not include future visits to maintain results over the long term, which are recommended about once a year. Those visits run from $625-$1900, depending on individual aging. On the rare occasion that it is desired, the treatment is also entirely reversible.
