If your facelift patient is from out of town, do you recommend staying one or several nights in St. Louis after the procedure? I live 3 hours south of St. Louis.

Hello and thank you for your question.
When patients live within driving distance, I'd recommend staying overnight for the first night after surgery. I will remove your dressing and perform a checkup on the morning after surgery; you may return home at that point until your one week checkup.
For patients that fly in for surgery, I require that they stay in St. Louis for 7 days after surgery.
